About me

I was born and raised in a small town in the heart of California's Central Valley. I was involved in theatre and performances for all of my adolescence, from school plays and orchestra recitals to dance classes and choral concerts. When I was a prospective student applying for university, I was in pursuit of a career in musical theatre. It was not until I took an intro costume class at California State University Stanislaus that I realized my passion for creating costumes.

I am currently attending California State University Stanislaus, working on a BA in Theatre Arts. For three years, I worked as the theatre department's costume shop assistant and box office attendant, as well as being the design assistant for many of their productions. In my years there, I have also costume designed three main productions. While attending school, I got my first apprenticeship at Summer Repertory Theatre in the summer of 2013, as a scenic painter, and from there a new passion in painting bloomed. I continued to do work at SRT for the next three summers after that.

I have done outside work in theatres such as the Gallo Centre for the Arts in Modesto, CA.,  Merced College and Merced Shakespeare Festival in Merced, CA., and spent four, impactful and formative summers at Summer Repertory Theatre Company in Santa Rosa, CA., which is a full, five show rotating rep.

Thank you for taking an interest in my work!
